The CLIO Key Art Awards ceremony saw some of the best creative communications work in entertainment recognized this week, and nothing is a higher honor in the competition than the Grand CLIO Award. We’re thrilled that our partner truTV took home a Grand CLIO this year.
The CLIO Key Art Awards present the Grand CLIO for outstanding work that represents the very best of the competition. While other finalist entries take Gold, Silver or Bronze awards, Grand CLIO awards are reserved for work that shines above all else. Only a handful are awarded each year at the CLIO Key Art Awards.
It was truTV’s innovative digital branding campaign, “#truTVisathing,” that earned it the Grand CLIO Award during Thursday’s ceremony. The brilliant, hilarious campaign focused on social media, engaging with viewers who seek out truTV each year for March Madness coverage, but might not otherwise know anything about the network. With a combination of witty retorts, digital video starring truTV personalities, and a playful attitude, truTV found people online to tell them that, yes, truTV is a thing.
For the team at Brave Dog, it’s always an incredible thrill to see our partners excel in competitions, and truTV reaching the highest echelons of the CLIO Key Art Awards is a phenomenal achievement. Our team knew truTV’s inventive and creative take with its #truTVisathing campaign was something special, and we’re glad the judges at the CLIO Key Art Awards saw what we did.
